Responsible for leading the kitchen staff, creating menus, food cost
planning and food purchasing, Executive Chef Lubos Hlahulek has carried on
the tradition of excellence at Anthony's for almost three years.
In 1997, Lubos began his
career as a sous chef for Janousek, Inc., in Norcross, and was the
executive chef from 1999 until the restaurant was sold. In 2003, he
coupled his European training with his experiences in the kitchen to
become the Executive Chef for Anthony's. In his 8 years in the
United States, Lubos admits that becoming Executive Chef of one of
Atlanta's oldest and most recognizable restaurants has been his greatest
accomplishment to date.
Within the industry, Lubos
received culinary training in Austria and Germany in the '90s, as well as
studying at the Karlovy Vary culinary institute. He was also a sous
chef at Hotel Moskva, Czech Republic, in 1996. His European
background has definitely paid off. "I always work hard and make the
best results for customers by bringing European influence to every meal,"
he explains.
Anthony's Fine Dining has
transformed over the past 38 years from serving mainly a la carte dinners to specializing in
corporate parties for Atlanta's largest companies and Atlanta's
finest wedding receptions. Chef Hlahulek has been a driving force
behind the restaurant's success since he came on board. Located in
the heart of Buckhead, Anthony's caters to both Buckhead and nationwide
clientele. For a la carte dining, banquets, weddings and corporate
parties, Lubos invites all to come experience true fine dining.
